Canopy Tours:
Give your senses a nice dose of adrenaline, as you zip though the treetops of the forest canopy.  At 40meters, you can enjoy the monkey’s perspective of this unique ecosystem.

SCUBA diving:
A truly fantastic diversity of marine life awaits you in these warm waters, the richness in phytoplankton makes this one of Costa Rica’s preferred dive spots.  Among the many kinds of fish you may see nurse sharks, several types of rays, turtles, eels, dolphins, just to name a few.  

Sailing:
Cruise along kilometers of coastline, where you will admire dozens of secret beaches, pristine and unexplored.  Look to the horizon for playful dolphins, whales and sea turtles.

Sport Fishing:
The Pacific coast offers excellent fishing year-round.  This is the anglers paradise, with an unbelievable abundance of big fish, such as; marlin, sailfish, mahi-mahi, red snappers, snook… did we mention Costa Rica has the worlds largest tuna banks?

The boats at your disposal are fully equipped, with all the state-of-the art gear one could wish for, and go from 27ft to 47ft.   

Kayaking:
For nature explorers, kayak tours are organized in the mangroves and estuary.  Observe birds, monkeys, crocodiles and iguanas undisturbed in their natural habitat.  Marvel at the abundant vegetation.  Immerse yourself in an ambiance of total peace.

Sunsets:
These are a ritual on the Pacific coast.  The sunsets are truly spectacular, and are different every day.  In fact many consider Tamarindo’s sunsets as some of the best in the world.  For added beauty enjoy them from a sailboat, or sitting on your surfboard, let the setting suns warm and fiery colors cover you with a blanket of serenity.   

Surfing:
Costa Rica is one of the worlds most renowned surf destinations.  Dotted with incredible surf spots, such as; rivermouth, Playa Grande, Langosta, Playa Negra, not to mention the world-famous Witch’s Rock, Ollie’s Point, among others.  There is a wave for everyone here.  Warm waters, few surfers, no jellyfish or dangerous sharks and magazine quality waves, who would not want to surf here?
 
ATVs and Off Road Jeeps:
Tear through the jungle on your vehicle of choice, Indiana Jones couldn’t do it better.  Learn about the ecosystem, as you splash through mud and cruise on white sand beaches, a definite must!

National parks:
There is a great variety of parks to enjoy.  Such as Santa Rosa, on the seashore; Rincon de la Vieja nested on an active volcano; the mangroves of Palo Verde (considered the best bird-watching destination in Central America) or Las Baulas, with its gigantic turtles.  There is something for every type of nature lover.
 
Excursion to Nicaragua:
Tamarindo is only two hours from the Nicaraguan border; take a journey into this beautiful country, rich in history, culture and colonial arquitecture, great shopping too.
